Toxicology and chemical exposure information is organized in five sections, explained further at each

Information in each section is presented in one of five categories:

News & Highlights looks at recent developments and what they mean.

 

Spotlight further focuses on recent developments that demand extra attention or require additional explantion.

 

In Depth comprehensively examines toxicology issues of major and ongoing importance, such as mercury or lead contamination, often with multiple articles about a single topic.

In Brief includes fact sheets, press releases, glossaries, guidelines, and key points about a variety of toxic injury and exposure issues.

 

Resources, references and links taps into the wide array of governmental and non governmental information and data bases, as well as publications and web-based links.

Information is presented in one or more of three types (look for colored symbol to determine which type or types of information is/are available):
 

Key studies and excerpts. We review journals, books, congressional staff reports and governmental and non governmental consensus documents each month--so you don't have to. We find the most important, timely and cutting edge findings.
 

Analysis and explanation. Make sense of the studies and data, in an objective, unbiased manner. Understand what the data says and limitations of its use.

 

Application. Learn how this information can be applied to real-life situations--and when it is not appropriate.
