Video Marketing Template: Create Great Video Content And You Make Money On Youtube With Low Views

– Doesn’t matter if a thousand
people watch your videos, you just need the one right
person to watch your videos. Your thought process has to be, I’m making this video as a speaking
engagement for someone who’s going to hire me and
pay me a million dollars. Those of you who are familiar
with The Dave Lorenzo Daily, my daily show every day here on this YouTube
channel at 5 p.m., you’ll recognize that I take a lot of time
to set my shots up and I either do them in
front of a green screen or in front of a step
and repeat banner 90% of the time. When I’m on the road,
sometimes I will share with you video from inside
the conference room where I’m teaching people or an executive strategy session where I’m briefing some senior
leaders in organizations. I fit the video into my
schedule as a consultant. My main business is
working with people to reorganize their sales team, set new strategy
for revenue growth, teach people about
relationship-based
business development. That’s what I do,
that’s my business. If you ask my kids what I do, they’ll tell you I’m a
YouTuber because they see me in my home studio making videos whenever I’m not on the road. I use YouTube and LinkedIn, those are my two primary
forms of social media, a little bit of Twitter
but YouTube and LinkedIn, as vehicles to educate people who may need help with the
services that I provide. So let’s say you’re
a business owner, you’re an entrepreneur, and you wanna know how
to grow in a recession. Well you’re gonna
come to my channel, and there’ll be 35
videos there about surviving a recession,
thriving in a recession, hiring salespeople
during a recession. If you’re a sales team manager or a sales leader in
a large organization and you wanna know
about motivation, there’ll be a dozen videos there about sales team motivation. You wanna know about
running sales contests, I’ve got probably 15
videos on sales contests. You get the idea. I post educational videos
as a way to add value to the people who
subscribe here on YouTube, but I also post
educational videos as a way to teach people
about the products and the services I provide. Now this is where
we get to view count and why view count on YouTube is not the be
all-end all for you if you’re in
professional services and you’re using
YouTube as a way to get your message out. I view YouTube as a
speaking engagement that I get to do every day in
front of thousands of people. It doesn’t matter if
15 people watch it or 15,000 people watch it in the first 90 minutes
or even the first 90 days. If I was doing the
speaking engagement in front of one person and that one person was
the CEO of Microsoft, would it make a difference whether there was only
one person in the room? No, absolutely not. That’s the way I view YouTube, and that’s the way you
should view YouTube. This is a speaking engagement you get to do in front of the audience that is perfect
for you and your business. How do I know that
they’re perfect for you and your business? Well they came here and
they tuned in to watch it. If you’re a salesperson out
there on the road every day, you absolutely have to add
video to your marketing mix. If you’re an entrepreneur,
you need to add video to your sales pipeline,
to your sales strategy. If you’re a sales team leader, all of your salespeople
need to add YouTube to their sales strategy. And the reason why is because you record this today but somebody may see
it three years from now and pay you $50,000 or $100,000 or buy a million dollars
worth of your product. As we speak right now, as you and I have this
conversation right now today, people are watching my videos, and one of those people is
going to pick up the phone today and call me with a
consulting engagement. That’s exactly
what happened to me with one of my biggest clients. Someone from that company
called me up and they said, “Dave, we’ve watched
all your YouTube videos. “We want you to come in
and do a presentation “to our executive team. “We’re looking to overhaul
our sales strategy “and we’re considering
you to work with us. I got on a plane, I flew there, I presented to their
executive committee. On the spot after
the presentation, the CEO stood up and he said, “I just wanted to make sure
you were the same person “in person that I saw
on your YouTube videos. “We’d like you to help
us with this issue. “Here’s what we have budgeted. “Can you do something
within our budgeted range?” I said yes, and the
relationship was born. That CEO watched a
dozen videos of mine. His team watched 300
videos that I did in the area that they wanted. It doesn’t matter if a thousand
people watch your videos, you just need the one right
person to watch your videos. Same thing goes for
subscriber count, same thing goes for
the amount of times your videos are shared. So when you make these videos as a business owner,
an entrepreneur, a sales professional, an
independent professional, a consultant just like me, when you’re making these videos, your thought process has to be, I’m making this video
as a speaking engagement for someone who’s
going to hire me and pay me a million dollars. That’s what your thought
