to specify web addresses. They help users to identify and find the documents
or resources they’re looking for on the website. That’s the basic purpose of URLs. But, the way you create your URL structure
can change how easy it is for search engines to find you. To create an SEO-friendly URL, you need to
optimize the structure and use keywords within it, while avoiding unfamiliar words or special
characters. In general, we can say that – Well-optimised
URLs are important for both search engines as well as for your user experience. However, Search engines takes many factors
into their decision making process before finalising which URLs to keep high on the
list. So, keep your URLs pretty straightforward
and simple. Additionally, they help in describing a web
page to search engines and potential visitors, meaning they should be accurate, enticing,
and well-structured. So, make sure your URLs are short and keyword
rich. If your URL structure is done well, it makes
the process of indexing easier and improve your chances of ranking higher. 2.Begin You SEO title with you keyword A title tag is an HTML element that specifies
the title of a web page. Your page titles are different from your headings. Title tags are displayed on search engine
results pages as the clickable headline for a given result, and are important for usability,
SEO, and social sharing. The title tag of a web page is meant to be
an accurate and concise description of a page’s content. Your title tag is the most important on-page
SEO factor. Therefore, it is a good practise to add your
keyword or related LSI words within Your Title to boost your rankings. Here is a tip, try adding the keyword in the
beginning. So, the closer the keyword is to the beginning
of the title tag, the more weight it has with search engines. 3. Add MeTa descriptions to your pages The meta description is an HTML attribute
that provides a brief summary of a web page. Search engines such as Google often display
the meta description in search results where they can influence users to click and reach
your website. For optimisation, make sure your meta descriptions
are Unique, contains your focus keyword in it and have optimal length of up to 160 characters
long. Here is a little add on to the information,
if you do not add meta descriptions then searches appear on google, fetch content from your
website page which if not appealing enough, can affect the traffic coming to your website. That’s why it is important to have your
meta descriptions well optimised to attract visitors and potentials leads. 4. Drop keywords in first 100 words of your content It’s a good idea to add keywords within the
content but adding your keywords in the first 100-150 words of your content is the hidden
secret. Nowadays, Google is smart enough to understand
the relevance of the content. So for instance, if we talk more about electrician
then we need to add similar content and words related to electrician. To overcome this, sprinkle some LSI keywords
which are basically synonyms of the keyword that Google uses to determine the page’s
content and its relevancy. 5. Heading structures of the website From an SEO perspective, you should use headings
to provide a proper flow of structure for your content. You can also use headings to break your content
into meaningful paragraphs. For instance, you can structure your headings
