Hello Guys, I am Swati from Ungrammary. Today, I am here to share few tips on, how
you can get more views on your blog, and how to improve its ranking in the search results? Well, we all spend a considerable amount of
time, putting our thoughts into words. But, what if, it’s not reaching enough Audience. Don’t worry, here in this video, I’ll be sharing
few technical practices which all of you can follow to improve your blog’s visibility and reach. Let’s see. Until you are an established blogger people won’t come to your site by searching your
Blog’s name or your website. So, how they will find you? Well, people tend to search for keywords or phrases on the internet. So we have to rank for specific keywords. This brings us to our first parameter
FOCUS KEYWORDS. Focus Keywords are the main keywords of your
blog for which you want to rank. It could be a word or a phrase of 3-4 words. If you want to choose best FOCUS keyword, you can take help of free tools like Google Keyword Planner, which help you find the search volume of the Keywords. From this, you can include keywords with maximum search volume in your blog. To know more about Google Keyword
Planner, do let me know in the comment section. Once you have decided your Focus keyword, you need
to optimize the structure of your blog. It serves 2 purposes:
First, it suggests Google which part of the content is more important and should be crawled. Second, it improves the readability of your
blog. Coming back to the structure of your blog,
The first part is “TITLE”. A Title should be around 60 to 70 characters long and should include the focus keyword. After Title, comes the body of your Blog. The Body of the blog should be relevant to your Title and should contain good density of the focus Keyword. A density of around 2-3% is considered as apt, that is around, 2-3 Focus keywords per 100 words of your blog. This doesn’t mean you need to forcibly include
unnecessary keywords. This can decrease the quality of your blog. Instead of writing your blog as big paragraph,
the best practice is to break it down in different components by incorporating headings and sub-headings. Google tend to give more weightage to Heading and
Sub-headings as compared to paragraphs. Always Put your titles and Headings in

or

Tags of your HTML code. If you have hosted your blog on WordPress,
you can use free Plugins Like “SEO Yoast” or “All in one SEO”, to manage Tags,
Keywords and Headings. I have included their link in the description. Coming back to the blog optimization, the next
Part is to optimize Slug. A slug is an user friendly-URL of a Blog. It’s the part in the URL, which comes after the
main domain name. In the given example The highlighted part is slug. The slug should be around 40
to 50 characters long and should contain the Focus Keyword. The next parameter that comes is Meta Description. Meta Description is a brief description about your blog, which tells Google, what this blog
is about? It should be around 135 to 140 characters long. Try to include Focus Keyword and the title
of the blog in the Meta description. If you are using images in your blog the
best practice to provide Alternate Text called Alt Text. These are the text which tells google
about the images, in case, they are unable to load or are not recognized by the google. At last, add relevant Tags to you blog. So, this is how you can make your blog SEO
optimized and can get more views. That’s all for today. If you liked our work, please give us a thumbs
