– When you think of search

search engines understand. It allows your content to be optimized which means more traffic to your page. – [Flock Of Seagulls] Mine,
mine, mine, mine, mine. – So, how do you get those high rankings for your content needs? Here are five search
engine copyrighting secrets you can apply to boost
your search engine ranking and make your content king. ♫ I can’t stop (upbeat techno music) ♫ I can’t stop Number one: keywords are the key. Keywords are the combinations
of words or phrases that users type in search engines when they look for content. Think of all the things
that you type into Google when you’re searching and
now think of the things that people may be typing
in to find your content and use those key words
while writing your content. Keywords are the main language that search engines understand
when they try to index what content is more
relevant to what users need. Using targeted key words is the key to make your content
discoverable and drive traffic. (gun bangs) Now, when you’re writing
content on your website, there are several places
you want to make sure that you’re using your main keywords. These crucial spaces are title tag. This can be the title of
your pages or blog posts. H1, H2, H3 tags. These are the subtitles
or headers on your pages. First paragraph of content. This is really important because
having the focus keywords in the first paragraph ensures that the topic is made clear immediately. Anchor text. This is the text that
has a clickable hyperlink that will bring people to another page. Meta description and tags. These are tags and
descriptions in the coding that tells search engines
what your page is about. Image description and file name. Believe it or not, it’s actually really
important to include keywords in your file names. So if you’re uploading a picture, make sure the file isn’t just named image one, two, three, four or screenshot. But that you’re actually using keywords to describe your file in
the title of your file. Word of warning, don’t spam your website with
the same repeated keywords. Use synonyms of your main
keywords to make sure that your content seems
more natural and organic. If you use the same words in the content over and over and over and over again, search engines will
actually penalize your site for over-optimization
and high keyword density. Number two: make sure your headlines
are intensely optimized. Focusing on optimizing your headlines can make or break your discovery ranking. In crafting your headline, focus on three major headline preferences. A number. Attach a number in your headline such as 10 ways to grow your online business Addressing reader need. Place content that users need. For example, why you need to utilize these
SEO tips for your website. Create specific instructional materials such as how to use Canva
for graphic design. Make sure that you use
the right kind of keywords by searching for those that
have a high search volume. This means that the
keywords you will place on your headlines reflect those
words related to your post that users will look for the most. Number three: Work on your tags and meta descriptions. Aside from your headlines, work on your meta descriptions as well. Tags are labels to categorize your content and meta descriptions are
the summaries of the webpages that appear below the headline in the search engine result page. These two are discoverable elements that help search engines understand what your content is all about. Again, for the purpose of SEO, make sure to use the right
tags and meta descriptions by searching for relevant keywords that people will actually search for when they look for content like yours. Take advantage of meta descriptions by adding your targeted
key words that you used both in your headline and tags. Number four: link it up Page links make your
page more discoverable and shows how your content is relevant. By placing links that people
can access on your page and allowing people to click back, it means that your content matters. Links improve the user experience and helps build traffic to your site. How do you make sure
that you attract links from important websites
and content curators? Well, you have to make sure
that you have great content and ask your follows and readers to share. Number five: write compelling content. Optimizing your content with the right targeted
keywords is one thing, but creating the best content will improve your search
engine rankings even better. Google uses page links to
analyze going through your site and those links are a factor in judging the credibility
of your content. As a guide, make sure that
your content is useful. Create how to posts and tips. Valuable. That your content cares about your users and creates value for them. And simple. That it’s easy to understand and works best for a majority of people. Applying search engine
optimization techniques when you write your
copy allows your content to be understood by Google
and other search engines. Optimization only works best
if you have great content. To learn more about copywriting techniques that help develop your
