I've really got into LinkedIn lately. As you say, using LinkedIn to hook people initially with a "continue reading" link is a great tactic.

How to add that "Continue Reading" anchor in post? :/ There's no option of adding URLs in post

Is it possible to setup LinkedIn to automatically post your blog posts, like a connected RSS feed? My Amazon author page allows this, and so does Goodreads. Taking every blog post and manually copying it into LinkedIn is something that I would prefer to automate.

    Thank you for that.
I'm doing all that you said and still getting no huge traffic. When I copy/paste an article I wrote I get few views on the article.
I don't know if it's only me but I feel that posts on LinkedIn don't perform as much as they used to do before.

Why does everyone claim that you don't have X result and that's why you have to watch the video, maybe you have already blog traffic but you just want to increase it

Hey Neil, would like to know if there is a strategy for using hashtags on LinkedIn, for Example we can know number of followers on Instagram for particular hashtags but we can't do it for LinkedIn. Please tell me what would be the ideal number of hashtags to be used for LinkedIn?

I love all the comments that I'm seeing here, because they all point towards content being king. I agree with you that if you have a blog that you trying to promote you should always focus on the messaging and the quality of the material that you putting out. I would also go a step further and say that company blogs should also dovetail with their marketing departments to ensure that personalised content is promoted. Things like loyalty videos from companies like Treepodia are incredibly important. You can boost your return on investment, boost stickiness on your site, and create a product that appears to be tailored to the end-user. That's what it's all about.

Why would you want to connect with your competitors? Why would you promote a direct competitors post?
