Eminem has got DOUBLE the amount of subscribers that Beyoncé has currently got! She’s got 19.9Million. He’s got 40.2Million. That’s crazy. Beyoncé is known as Queen B. No wonder Eminem is known as the Rap God. Gotta be more than a king if you double our Queen lol. I honestly love Beyoncé, I think her voice is just stunning. But Eminem is a total living legend. But I’m glad he wrote this song to basically tell everyone “You may see me as a God. But don’t. Because I’m not.”

I’ve really been loving Eminem even more just recently, watching a lot of his older songs like: “When I’m Gone”, “Hailies Song”, “My Dad’s Gone Crazy”, “Mockingbird”, “Toy Soldiers” etc. Eminem was the first EVER rapper I listened too & I remember it like it was yesterday. It was “The Eminem Show” album. My dad brought it when we were camping in Wales (I’m from England) and we were listening to it in the car as we drove around parts of Wales. I was hooked on him from then! I must’ve only been approximately 11/12 because I was born in 1991. I think it came out around 2002 didn’t it? Anytime we were back at the campsite & everyone would be in the tents, I was sat in the car listening to it and reading the lyrics from the little insert you get in the album. I was trying to 1) learn the lyrics and 2) keep up lol. Kept getting in trouble “Jade you’ll make the car battery flat!” Lol. Ever since that day Eminem has always been my favourite rapper. I don’t think anyone will ever take that title from Em in my opinion.

    I walk on water
    But I ain't no Jesus
    I walk on water
But only when it freezes (fuck)

    Why, are expectations so high?
Is it the bar I set?
My arms, I stretch, but I can't reach
A far cry from it, or it's in my grasp, but as
    Soon as I grab, squeeze
I lose my grip like the flying trapeze
    Into the dark, I plummet
Now the sky's blackening, I know the mark's high
    Butter-flies rip apart my stomach
Knowing that no matter what bars I come with
You're gonna hark, gripe, and that's a hard Vicodin to swallow
So I scrap these, as pressure increases, like khakis
I feel the ice cracking, because

    I walk on water
    But I ain't no Jesus
    I walk on water
    But only when it freezes

It's the curse of the standard
That the first of the Mathers disc set
Always in search of the verse that I haven't spit yet
Will this step just be another misstep
To tarnish whatever the legacy, love or respect, I've garnered?
The rhyme has to be perfect, the delivery flawless
And it always feels like I'm hitting the mark
'Til I go sit in the car, listen, and pick it apart
    Like, "this shit is garbage"
    God's given me all this
Still I feel no different regardless
Kids look to me like as a God, this is retarded
If only they knew, it's a facade and it's exhaustive
And I try to not listen to nonsense
But if you bitches are trying to strip me of my confidence
    Mission accomplished
    I'm not God-sent
Nas, Rakim, Pac, Big, James Todd Smith, and I'm not Prince, so

    I walk on water
    But I ain't no Jesus
    I walk on water (It's true, I'm a Rubik's, it's true)
But only when it freezes (It's true)

'Cause I'm only human, just like you
Making my mistakes, oh if you only knew
I don't think you should believe in me the way you do
'Cause I'm terrified to let you down, oh

    It's true, I'm a Rubik's, a beautiful mess
At times juvenile, yes, I goof and I jest
    A flawed human, I guess
But I'm doing my best to not ruin your expectations
And meet 'em, but first, the "Speedom" verse
Now, Big Sean, he's going too fast
Is he gonna shout or curse out his mom?
There was a time I had the world by the balls, eating out my palm
Every album, song I was spazzin' the fuck out on
And now I'm getting clowned and frowned on
But the only one who's looking down on me that matters now's Deshaun
Am I lucky to be around this long?
    Begs the question, though
    Especially after the methadone
As yesterday fades and the Dresden home is burnt to the ground
And all that's left of my house is lawn
    The crowds are gone
And it's time to wash out the blonde
    Sales decline, the curtains drawn
They're closing the set, I'm still poking my head out from behind
And everyone who has doubt, remind
Now take your best rhyme, outdo it, now do it a thousand times
Now let 'em tell ya the world no longer cares or gives a fuck about your rhymes
And as I grow outta sight, outta mind, I might go outta mine
'Cause how do I, ever let this mic go without a fight
When I made a fuckin' tightrope outta twine?
But when I do fall from these heights, though, I'll be fine
I won't pout or cry or spiral down or whine
But I'll decide if it's my final bow this time around 'cause

    I walk on water
    But I ain't no Jesus
    I walk on water
    But only when it freezes

'Cause I'm only human, just like you
I been making my mistakes, oh if you only knew
I don't think you should believe in me the way that you do
'Cause I'm terrified to let you down, oh
If I walked on water, I would drown

'Cause I'm just a man, but as long as I got a mic I'm godlike
So me and you are not alike
    Bitch, I wrote "Stan"

No matter what eminem always makes the best music and everyone who doesn't like him doesn't listen to his lyrics. And when the day comes and eminem is gone there will be no one to replace him he is the best so even if u dont like his music or whatever respect him for him and how he came from nothing

I love this song Idc how many people hate it…. it resonates within a part of yourself… if you have ever been held to expectations that overwhelm you… and no matter what you do not everyone is going to be on your side… all that matters is that you met your own expectations and you are happy with what you have made/done…

This man really went hard, and this is his letter for the retards, who think they got colder bars. Truly, this wannabe music today, that truly just sounds gay, and truly needs to be put away, because there's no way, that it should just even stay. All these kids are poisoned by these wannabes, that's more annoying than fleas, I'm just like trigga please. I don't even rap, but I know that I can put together a colder rap, that make these maggots get slapped, and make them really get pushed back. I'm truly proud of Eminem, or should I say Slim? Either way, he still gets the win, because he hit these wannabes, right under the skin. Keep doing your thing, the true rappers and rap lovers, are still under your wing, so don't give it up, you still got the sling, so keep remaining true, and not a fake human being.
