A lot of brand owners, they just want to talk about their product and that’s great. But what you want to do is you want to rank not only for your own brand name or product name, which is great. But you also want to rank for the organic and generic keyword terms that describe your product. Do the SEO keyword research. Use a tool like Scope or even SEMrush to generate the initial keywords that people are searching for and test those keywords in Amazon to ensure relevance. Once you have the top two to three keywords, you want to place them strategically in your title. You want to place them strategically in your product features and you want to place them strategically in your product description. This encourages the relevance of the product’s ranking not only on Amazon but also on Google and can make a huge impact on your overall sales long term.
