πŸ™€ Pinterest Follow Unfollow Tools That Will Get Your Account Suspended β›”

By | October 17, 2019

Anastasia, I’m new on Pinterest I
followed 60 or 70 people in one go and since then I cannot see my search button
on my account. Any clue what happened? Is this due to repetitive activity that I
have done? My account cannot follow! what is the cause? I follow 10,000 people in
the past month and I got 4000 followers and 5000 monthly viewers and
320 engagements now I just need to unfollow all those 10,000 people, how can
I do that? Can you give me any suggestion? My
Pinterest account has 160 followers but only 7 viewers. Help me! All of these
are real comments and questions on my youtube channel and I mention them here
because people left them in public but I also have a ton of similar questions
coming into my inbox and to my facebook Messenger. The problem is that a lot of
people are used to follow unfollow activities on other social media
platforms and they think this should work on Pinterest as well. In this video
I will tell you why you’re wasting your time following people on Pinterest and
why doing this in large volumes, as well as unfollowing people with automation
tools can get your account suspended. I’m Anastasia of AnastasiaBlogger.com
and I publish Pinterest tips on this channel every Thursday. If you want to
get more content like this one from me subscribe and click on that Bell button
to get notifications when I publish my new Pinterest tutorials. So, why you
should not be wasting your time for follow and follow on Pinterest? The
reason #1 is because Pinterest is a visual search engine more than it
is a social media platform. Of course Pinterest has certain features of a
social media site but it’s not as personal as Facebook or Instagram so
when you follow someone on Pinterest they will hardly even find out you
followed them. People are not going on Pinterest to communicate with each other
they come to Pinterest to discover some new ideas and content that they’re
interested in. Regular Pinterest users don’t care if you followed their
accounts or not because they are not on Pinterest for anyone to follow
them. If anything, lots of Pinterest users actually prefer to use secret boards on
Pinterest so that no one can even see what ideas they’re saving. All this means
that your follow back ratio will be really low on Pinterest. The reason
#2 is that doing follow and unfollow manually is a waste of time but
automating following and following is a very good way to get your Pinterest
account banned. I know several people who have tried this and they got suspended
including some of those who commented on my video about Pinterest suspensions. I
will give you a link to that video in the top right corner or in the
description below this video. So the platform is smart enough to understand
when some software is getting the login details of your account and making some
repetitive actions on your behalf. It’s just a matter of time when you will get
penalized on for this or even suspended. let me tell you more Pinterest has a
list of authorized marketing partners and the most popular of them and the
most advanced for managing Pinterest in in particular is called Tailwind.
Tailwind is using the official Pinterest API but there is no any feature in
Tailwind that allows you to automate or even helps you in any way to do follow
unfollow on Pinterest. If the authorized Pinterest automation tool doesn’t allow
this feature that’s because Pinterest doesn’t want any activity of this kind
on their platform. By the way if the word Tailwind is new to you, I have another
tutorial specifically about tailwind on my channel I’ll give you a link as usual
in the info icon over there and I can give you a link in the
description below this video. Now the reason #3 is that even if
you’re lucky enough and your account doesn’t get suspended for following it
and unfollowing on Pinterest, you will still be wasting your time because your
reach and your traffic from Pinterest doesn’t directly correlate with your
following numbers. Here’s the guy who commented on one of my videos. He managed
to get his account to up to four thousand followers and he was only with
5000 viewers and 320 engagements monthly.
Just so you understand 5000 monthly views and Pinterest is basically nothing.
My account has currently over 10 million monthly viewers and the guy said it has
320 monthly engagements so it’s probably the amount of saves and maybe a couple
of clicks that he gets he actually didn’t even mention any click-throughs
so my guess is that he barely gets any traffic from Pinterest account.
So here is a lady in a popular Facebook group which is focused on Pinterest
marketing and someone asked in this group if follow unfollow is an
effective strategy on Pinterest and here is what she shared while I’m not a fan
of the follow unfollow method I have tried the follow method then being said
I have the same amount of impressions and monthly engaged now with 700
followers as I did with 10. So followers don’t seem to matter on Pinterest. These
are just some random examples which I found in a couple of minutes but I can
assure you it is totally true because I have seen accounts with over a hundred
thousand followers that were not getting even close to the traffic or
Pinterest monthly viewers that my 1 year old account was getting with less than
10,000 followers. So why followers don’t matter on Pinterest that much? I made
another video on my channel which shows you all the ways that you can use to
grow your Pinterest following organically so I’ll give you a link to
that video in the info icon in the right top corner and below the video in the
description. But to make it short you can actually reduce your reach by doing
follow unfollow on Pinterest! You see, when you publish a new piece of content
on Pinterest, the platform will first show it to your followers and then it
will calculate the engagement based on your followers and when the engagement
is high Pinterest thinks it’s great pin and it’s a great page to show it to more
people as a recommended pin and this helps your pins reach a broader audience
of people who might be interested in your topic but they are not yet your
followers. But if you do follow unfollow, you
often get a lot of bot followers instead of real people. What happens next
is that a big part of your following base consists of those BOTS or people
who don’t care about your content in reality and when your new pins are shown
to them, they don’t get any high engagements and your pins are not
considered as quality content. They’re not going anywhere further than your
following base and you don’t get the impressions that your pins probably
might deserve and you definitely don’t get the viral effect on
Pinterest. You see now how doing follow unfollow can not only be a waste of
time but also a destructive activity that kills your reach on Pinterest. Now,
everything I’m telling you is based on my experience on Pinterest and you might
have a totally different opinion. I would love to hear your stories in the
comments below this video. Have you tried follow unfollow method on
Pinterest? Did it work for you? Did you see any improvement in your
traffic and engagement on Pinterest even if you managed to get a few more
followers using this method? Now, if you want to learn what actually works on
Pinterest and helps you grow your followers organically without those
risky follow unfollow methods and if you want to learn what brings more
traffic to your site and ultimately what helps you make money with your website,
I’ve got you covered in my FREE Pinterest Masterclass. So I will give you
a link to it in the info icon in the top right corner of the screen and also in
the description below this video. Meanwhile, you can check out my previous
